Staff Selection Commission (SSC) finally announced notification regarding General Duty (GD) exam for the post of Constable in different Central Police Organisations. Both Male and Female are eligible for these posts. Read full news here.

Eligibility:
Candidates must hold the matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University before applying for the GD post.
Age:
Between 18-23 Years for General Candidates.
For OBC – 26 years.
For ST/SC – 28 years.
For Ex-Servicemen (GEN) – 26 years.
For Ex-Servicemen (OBC) – 29 years.
For Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) – 31 years.
For Domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 1989 (GEN) – 28 Years.
For Domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 1989 (OBC) – 31 Years.
For Domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 1989 (SC/ST) – 33 Years.
For Children and dependent of victims KILLED in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (GEN) – 28 years.
For Children and dependent of victims KILLED in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (OBC) – 31 years.
For Children and dependent of victims KILLED in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (SC/ST) – 33 years.
Important Dates:
Start Date of Online Application – 17 Jul 2021.
Last Date of Online Application – 31 Aug 2021.
Physical Requirements:
Height –
Male- 170 cm.
Female -157 cm.
Chest – Male candidates should have following standards of chest measurements
Un-expanded – 80cm.
Minimum Expension – 5cm.
Running Time (For candidates other than those belonging to Ladakh region) –
Male – 5 km in 24 min.
Female – 1.6 km in 8½ min.
Running Time ( For candidates of Ladakh region)
Male – 1.6 km in 6½ min .
Female – 800 m in 4 min.
