Manager – Security and Loss Prevention Specialist

Department: Cash Management Division

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Security Management:
    • Oversee and ensure the security of all cash management operations, including transportation, storage, and handling.
    • Implement and maintain effective security protocols to protect personnel, assets, and infrastructure.
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate security risks.
    • Ensure all security equipment (e.g., surveillance systems, vaults, alarms) is operational and well-maintained.
    • Supervise the deployment of security personnel and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
  2. Loss Prevention:
    • Identify vulnerabilities within cash management operations and recommend corrective measures to minimize losses.
    • Monitor cash reconciliation processes to ensure there are no discrepancies.
    • Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or operational lapses and provide detailed reports to management.
    • Collaborate with law enforcement and third-party security agencies when required.
    • Develop and enforce cash handling guidelines to prevent mismanagement or loss.
  3. Operational Oversight:
    • Monitor daily operations of the Cash Management Division, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cash collection, transit, and delivery.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational activities and incidents.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to teams under your supervision, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  4. Compliance and Training:
    • Ensure compliance with local laws, industry regulations, and internal policies related to cash management and security.
    • Train team members on security measures, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols.
    • Conduct regular audits of security practices and cash handling procedures.
    • Maintain and update security certifications for the company and its personnel, as required.
  5. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with cash management services.
    • Address client concerns promptly and implement measures to prevent recurring issues.
    • Ensure transparency and regular communication with clients regarding security and operational performance.
