Indian Armed Forces Officers Recruitment 2022: CDS 1 Exam.
UPSC has released the CDS exam 2022 Notification on its official website for recruitment of 341 vacancies for men and women. CDS exam is very important for candidates who want to join the Indian Armed Forces.
UPSC organizes written examinations and interviews for CDS recruitment after which the successful candidates are sent to the Indian Military Academy (Dehradun), Indian Naval Academy (Goa), Air Force Academy (Hyderabad) and Officer Training Academy (Chennai). Total 341 vacancies out. Academy wise vacancies list as follows –
Indian Military Academy, Dehradun – 100.
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala – 22.
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad – 32.
Officers Training Academy, Chennai, (SSC Men) – 170.
Officers Training Academy, Chennai, (SSC Women) – 17.
Eligibility:
INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY – Graduation Degree.
INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY – B.E/B.Tech (10+2 with Physics & Maths).
AIR FORCE ACADEMY – Graduation, B.E/B.Tech (10+2 with Physics & Maths).
OFFICERS’ TRAINING ACADEMY (MEN) – Graduation Degree.
OFFICERS’ TRAINING ACADEMY (WOMEN) – Graduation Degree.
Age Requirement:
INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY – 19-24 years.
INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY – 19-24 years.
AIR FORCE ACADEMY – 20-24 years.
OFFICERS’ TRAINING ACADEMY (MEN) – 19-25 years.
OFFICERS’ TRAINING ACADEMY (WOMEN) – 19-25 years.
Important Dates:
Starting Date of Online Application – 22 Dec 21.
Closing Date of Online Application – 11 Jan 22.
