All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2021: Online Application Started
National Testing Agency (NTA) has published a notification regarding conducting of Test for Admission in Class VI and IX. The National Testing Agency (NTA), established by Ministry of Education, Government of India, is an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization.
NTA will be conducting the AISSEE-2021 for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2021-22. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE and managed by Sainik Schools Society (Ministry of Defence). They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other training academies for Officers.
Eligibility/ Age:
For Class VI –
(a) Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 Mar 21.
(b) Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools.
For Class IX –
Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 Mar 21 and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognised school, at the time of admission.
Important Dates:
Starting Date of Online Application – 20 Oct 20.
Closing Date of Online Application – 19 Nov 20.
Date of Exam – 10 Jan 21.
