Indian Air Force has published a notification regarding the recruitment of AFCAT (01/2022) for Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches and NCC Special Entry for Courses Commencing in January 2023. Read full news here.
Vacancies:
Total 269 vacancies out. Post wise vacancies list as follows-
AFCAT Entry –
Flying – 77.
Ground Duty (Technical) – 103.
Ground Duty (Non – Technical) – 89.
NCC Special Entry –
Flying – 10% Seats.
Eligibility:
(a) Nationality. Candidate must be a citizen of India as per the Indian citizenship act, 1955.
(b) Candidates should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level
and
(c) Graduation (any Disciplines) or BE/B Tech degree or Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India in relevant Engg disciplines Degree or PG Degree (Relevant Subjects).
Age:
Age requirement as per 01 Jan 23 as follows-
For Flying Branch:
Minimum Age – 20 Years.
Maximum Age – 24 Years.
Candidates born between 02 Jan 99 to 01 Jan 03 (both dates inclusive).
For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch –
Minimum Age – 20 Years.
Maximum Age – 26 Years.
Candidates born between 02 Jan 97 to 01 Jan 03 (both dates inclusive).
Important Dates:
Starting Date to Apply Online – 01 Dec 21.
Closing Date to Apply Online – 30 Dec 21.
Starting Date of Training – First Week of Jan 2023.
