Indian Army Officers (Tech & Non Tech) Recruitment 2021: 191 Vacancies.

Indian Army has published an employment notification regarding the 57th SSC (Tech-Men) and 28th SSC (Tech-Women) for the unmarried Male & unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also for Widows of Defence Personnel for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army in all Arms/ Services. Eligibility:

For SSC (Tech) (Men & Women) –

Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course

For Widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness:

SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC): Graduation in any Discipline.

SSCW (Tech): BE/ B.Tech in Any Engineering Stream.

Age:

For SSC (T)-57 Men & SSCW (T) 28 Women –

20 to 27 Years as on 01 Oct 21. (Candidates should born b/w 02-10-1994 & 01-10-2001, both dates inclusive)

For widows of Defence Personnel who died Harness Only –

SSCW (Non Technical-Non UPSC) & SSCW (Tech) – A maximum of 35 Years as on 01 Oct 21.

Important Dates:

Staring Date of Online Application –  25 May 21 at 15:00 Hrs.

Last Date of Online Application –  23 Jun 21 at 15:00 Hrs.

Indian Army Recruitment 2021: Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teacher).

Indian Army has published an employment notification regarding the recruitment for the post of Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teacher) for RRT 91, 92, 93, 94 & 95 courses. Read full news here.

Total 194 vacancies announced. Post wise vacancies list as follows-

Pandit – 171.

Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment – 09.

Granthi – 05.

Maulvi (Sunni) – 05.

Maulvi (Shia) for Ladakh Scout – 01.

Padre – 02.

Bodh Monk (Mahayana) for Ladakh Scout – 01.

Eligibility:

The minimum educational qualification for appointment to this special list of Junior Commissioned Officers (Religious Teacher) will be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised  university. In addition, candidate must possess following qualification according to the religious denomination of the individual: –

(i) Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment –

Hindu  candidates with Acharya in Sanskrit OR Shastri in Sanskrit with one-year diploma in ‘Karam Kand’.   

(ii) Granthi – 

Sikh candidates with ‘Gyani’ in Punjabi.   

(iii) Maulvi and Maulvi (Shia) for Ladakh Scouts – Muslim candidates with Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib Alim in Urdu.  

(iv) Padre –

Any person who have been ordained priesthood by  the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and is still on the approved list  of the local Bishop.

Age:

(a) For Direct Entry and In Service Candidates between 25-34 Years as on 01 Oct 21.

(b) Candidates born between 01 Oct 87 and 30 Sep 96 inclusive of both dates.

Important Dates:

Staring Date of Online Application- 11 Jan 21 at 10:00 Hrs.

Last Date of Online Application- 09 Feb 21 at 17:00 Hrs.

Last Date for Receipt of Application for Civilian Candidates – 01 Mar 21.

Date for Written Exam – 27 Jun 21.

How to Apply?

(i) Civil Candidates – Applying for Pandit, Granthi, Padri, and Maulvi (Sunni) categories, applications will only be accepted online on website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Manual applications for these categories will be rejected (detailed instructions given in ‘INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE APPLICATION’). 

(ii) Civil Gorkha Candidates – Applying for Pandit (Gorkha) category will submit written application duly filled to Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat only (please refer application pro-forma). 

(iii) Civil Muslim (Shia) – Candidates of Ladakh region. Applying for Maulvi(Shia) category will submit written application duly filled to Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Leh only (please refer application pro-forma). 

(iv) Civil Buddhist (Mahayana) – Candidates of other than Sikkim Region. Applying for Bodh Monk will submit written application duly filled to Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Leh only (please refer application  pro-forma). 

(v) Submission of Application by Service Candidates.  Applications will only be accepted through official channel (detailed instructions are in ‘INSTRUCTIONS FOR SERVING SOLDIER’). 

(f)  Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
