What is SSC CHSL Exam?
The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.
Vacancies:
1600 Vacancies are out. Updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission. Posts are as follows-
(A) Data Entry Operator (DEO).
(B) Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC).
(C) Court Clerk.
(D) Postal Assistant.
(E) Sorting Assistant.
Eligibility As on 01 Aug 23:
For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG) – Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) In the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) – 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Age:
Between 18-27 years for SSC CHSL. Candidates born not before 14 Jul 88 and not later than 01 Aug 05 are eligible to apply (Relaxation as Per Government Rules).
Important Dates:
Online Form submission Start – 09 May 23.
Last Date to Submit Application – 10 Jun 23.
SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Dates – Aug 23.
